Below you will find Driveway Alarm Systems that use an air hose (similar to a gas station signaling system) to detect the movement of a vehicle in a certain area, such as the entrance of a driveway. This type of driveway alarm system is ideal where the detection of people or animals is not desired, and where winter weathers, such as snow or ice would not interfere with activation of the hose. For wireless driveway alert devices; please note the transmission distance listed is for direct line-of-sight with no walls, trees, buildings, etc. in between. We recommend buying a wireless motion detector driveway alarm system that has a wireless transmission distance (to your inside monitor alert chime) approx. two times (2X) the actual distance to provide a reliable drive way security alarm system.
